Lindy-Hop Dance Workshop

Lindy Hop is an African-American couple dance that originated in New York in the 1930s and is, so to speak, the grandmother of modern swing dances like Rock 'n' Roll or Boogie Woogie. Even though the dance is a bit older, we cheerfully whistle at the gender roles of yesteryear - with us it's: everybody leads, everybody follows, everybody learns both dance roles from the beginning.
We start at 8:30 pm with a Lindy Hop taster class for newcomers without previous knowledge, from 9:30 to 11 pm there is time for free dancing. Everyone is welcome, you don't need to register or have a dance partner.
